The last dance of the wedding reception with bubbles filling the air — Turn on the bubble machine for the last dance at the wedding reception
The last dance of the evening is always something special, and the addition of the bubbles on this particular evening made this dance even better. Right before the dance, we made sure that everyone had their bubbles, and were ready to fill the air with them when the time was right. As you can see, everyone followed our instructions and we had bubbles for days! While the Bride and Groom we lost in each others eyes as they danced, it looked like they were surrounded by hundreds of little tiny stars.

The toasts can be one of the highlights of a wedding reception. and it's important to be able to capture the moment in photos for the memories you create that last for years to come. Here at Scott Shaw Productions, we always like to stage the toasts so that the Bride, the Groom, and the person toasting them are all in the "frame" for the photographers in the room capturing that very special moment in time. Lindsey and Andrew Matney were married on may 12, 2012 in Hollywood, South Carolina. Their ceremony took place in a picturesque grove of oak trees next to the water by the 14th hole in Stono Ferry, and then it was up to the clubhouse for the reception. It was truly and night to remember!

Dance floor or no dance floor, DJ Scott Shaw always gets everyone dancing and having fun. This particular venue had no official dance floor, but as you can see, it didn’t matter a bit. There was a bit of space, and that was all we needed for the party to get started. Great music makes for a great party, so we always create a special music mix for each individual client to make sure we always play everyone’s favorite music.

Not only that, it also makes a great “opening act” for your toasts! After this presentation, everyone in the room has had a wonderful laugh, is in a great mood, warmed up, and ready to enjoy the words of the first toast presentation.

You’ve got to exit the evening sometime, so you might as well do it with a splash! Sparkler exits make spectacular photographs, and they’re a fun for everyone at the wedding. The Top Ten Wedding Reasons presentation only takes a few minutes, all of the preparation has been done well before the presentation is set to begin. There’s always a gem or two in the answers given by the good friends and family of the Bride and Groom!

After they write their answer to the question, they bring their slips to the DJ station so that your DJ can determine the best and most entertaining answers for the Top Ten presentation. This presentation is always entertaining and fun, moves quickly, and is the perfect introduction to the wedding toasts.

Their guests followed their instructions perfectly, and everyone threw their beach balls up in the air at the moment that their officiate introduced them as husband and wife, creating this unique and fun photo opportunity.

Scott was a fantastic DJ! Our guests raved about him for days after our wedding. We had a cancelation with our first DJ, we contacted Scott and he was available last minute and we couldn’t have been happier. He made all the planning extremely easy. Scott was the DJ for our daughter's wedding at Litchfield Golf Club in June. He was professional, courteous, and his years of experience showed in everything he did. Scott did a tremendous job of mixing the music to entertain a crowd ranging in age from their early 30's to their mid 70's. He kept the crowd there until; the event was over and interacted with every table of guest to get their music preferences and request. We initially reached out to DJ Scott as a DJ for our daughter's Quinceañera, but Scott was much more than just a DJ. Very responsive and involved in our timeline and gave helpful suggestions to keep things moving, excellent attention to detail with the song lists, making sure everything was family friendly, with clean versions of all music choices. Scott did a great job as MC, making sure all our guests knew what was going on, when, and where, and even did a fine job at learning some of our announcements phonetically in Spanish! Scott took a number of photos that we supplied and made a wonderful slide show, which he projected on a screen for the duration of the event. Did I mention the photo booth? Well, he did that also! All of this without missing a point on the timeline, or anything else. We could not have been more pleased with the results we got with DJ Scott, and Scott Shaw Productions-we HIGHLY recommend him/them for any event, especially one with lots of moving parts that need to synchronize!
