Our DJ’s have years of experience performing for thousands of events, shows, and parties of every type you can imagine, We constantly update our music library, and have every style of music you can imagine, from deep into the past to the latest hits from today’s hottest artists. We create a fantastic mix of music just for you that will delight all of your guests, no matter how diverse that fills up the dance floor and keeps your party rolling!

Weddings are our specialty, and we work with our clients to plan and coordinate the details of your wedding ceremony and reception to help you create a celebration that reflects your personal style and taste. Our DJ’s are exceptional Hosts and MC’s, so you can be sure that the special moments of your celebration will be highlighted to create memories that last a lifetime. DJ SCOTT SHAW

Scott formed his first band at 15 years old, and has been involved in music and performing ever since. As a musician, Scott has played every style of music, including Rock, Country, Jazz, latin, and everything in between. In 1977, he landed the gig as the bassist for the 60’s rock band “Paul Revere & The Raiders,” and performed with them for three years. From there, he worked the comedy club circuit for several years until joining the cast of Calvin Gilmore’s Carolina Opry, where he sang, told jokes, and worked behind the scenes in the writing and production of the show as well. Scott has been working as a DJ for the past 20 years, and nothing pleases him more than looking out at a packed dance floor knowing that he’s picked out just the right music once again. Scott brings years of solid entertainment experience to every event, and gives you confidence in knowing that your event will be a huge success.

DJ STEVE CALFEE

Steve has been entertaining people along the Grand Strand for over 30 years, beginning with his band landing the house gig at one one the oldest clubs in Myrtle Beach, the legendary Bowery. A few years later, Steve and his band would hit the road on the show band circuit, which made room at the Bowery for a little known band at the time from Alabama called … Alabama. Who knew? Steve is also the owner of Southern Star Recording Studios, where he’s recorded countless local and national recordings including movie soundtracks, and a few tracks that have climbed the regional Beach Music charts. Steve got the DJ bug years ago, and has been delighting his many clients ever since. These days you can find Steve entertaining the guests on the sight seeing cruise, “The Barefoot Princess,” as it makes its way up and down the Intercoastal Waterway.

DJ JIM STERNER

Jim started playing music in college bands, then moved into playing vinyl music and CDs. About 10 years ago, he upgraded to the computer and MP3 music. He kept all the music he had collected over the years and keeps collecting as much as possible. His library is approximately one million songs. He knows the most popular songs in each genre, and he plays what your guests want, not what he wants to play. Whether it’s waltz, Oldies, or modern dance, he has it. He gets your guests dancing and having fun. Jim also understands that quality equipment makes the difference between a great event and a poor one. He invests in the best speakers, computers, mics and lighting and plays the music that makes your event.

Scott was a fantastic DJ! Our guests raved about him for days after our wedding. We had a cancelation with our first DJ, we contacted Scott and he was available last minute and we couldn’t have been happier. He made all the planning extremely easy. He provided the music for the ceremony and the reception. During the reception, we played the newlywed game; our guests and us loved it. Scott was a huge asset to our wedding, would use him again in the future if we need to.

Scott was the DJ for our daughter's wedding at Litchfield Golf Club in June. He was professional, courteous, and his years of experience showed in everything he did. He provided music for the outdoor ceremony and equipped the groom and the Reverend with a mic so all could hear. The he kept the indoor receiption and celebration going til the end! Scott did a tremendous job of mixing the music to entertain a crowd ranging in age from their early 30's to their mid 70's. He kept the crowd there until; the event was over and interacted with every table of guest to get their music preferences and request. We initially reached out to DJ Scott as a DJ for our daughter's Quinceañera, but Scott was much more than just a DJ. Very responsive and involved in our timeline and gave helpful suggestions to keep things moving, excellent attention to detail with the song lists, making sure everything was family friendly, with clean versions of all music choices. Scott did a great job as MC, making sure all our guests knew what was going on, when, and where, and even did a fine job at learning some of our announcements phonetically in Spanish! Scott took a number of photos that we supplied and made a wonderful slide show, which he projected on a screen for the duration of the event. Did I mention the photo booth? Well, he did that also! All of this without missing a point on the timeline, or anything else. We could not have been more pleased with the results we got with DJ Scott, and Scott Shaw Productions-we HIGHLY recommend him/them for any event, especially one with lots of moving parts that need to synchronize!
